"CrowdChess growing up..."
Almost two weeks have passed since CrowdChess was launched and I must say that these are probably one of the most exciting two weeks of my life. Some people compare new businesses to babies as they also need to be taken care of and nurtured and so to see CrowdChess grow and evolve in front of your very eyes is fascinating and captivating to say the least. We now have close to 500 registered players from all over the world with another 15-20 signing up every day and joining our new (and great ;) chess enthusiasts community and so it feels great to see months of hard work and dedication finally starting to pay off. We get a lot of priceless feedback from a lot of different people and I want to take this moment and say a very big thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the people who are sacrificing their time and energy and helping turn CrowdChess in to something great, you know who you are, THANK YOU!! We have made quite a few updates, upgrades and changes to CrowdChess since its inception two weeks ago and you might have noticed some of them??????? here are just some of the most important ones(not in chronological order of importance): 1. You can now report site bugs hassle free and without having to write us a separate email by clicking on the very top orange banner on top of every page that will take you to the ???????report a bug??????? page. If you see any errors, bugs, etc please don????????t hesitate and do let us know about it as it will help us make the site more stable and of course better. We try the best we can to have a bug-free CrowdChess but without your help it????????s an almost impossible task. 2. Due to a lot of requests to speed up the game the time to make a move is now 30 minutes instead of 1 hour as it was previously. We will also be adding other games with different time limits (1 move per day, 1 move per hour, 1 move per 10 min, etc) to better suit your chess playing needs. 3. A lot of people have complained that it was a little confusing to figure out which team you are on and who is currently playing (and not) and so we added a feature to the submit a move window where if your team is not playing the window will be dimmed and you will see a countdown clock in it which will tell you exactly in how much time your team will be playing again and what team you are on. 4. The DeepThink mode now opens up in a separate window for your convenience preventing accidental closure of the play room page. Thank you to all for helping make CrowdChess in to a success!! Cheers, Stan
